Role Description

This TM will be responsible to manage a team of 3-15 Sales Development Representatives.

Responsibilities:

  1. Inbound Lead Generation: Follow up on inbound sales inquiries to generate new sales opportunities and pipeline. Activities will include but may not be limited to the following

  2. Prospecting: Identifying potential Tenable clients through various inbound channels such as Product Evaluation requests, Product Demonstration requests, Form Fills requesting to be contacted by a Tenable representative, Webinars, Live Chat, Marketing Content downloads, etc. Prospecting will also include using tools like Linkedin Sales Navigator for identifying additional relevant stakeholders to include in the sales process.

  3. Lead Qualification: Engaging with prospects via telephone, email, and/or digital channels to understand their security needs, challenges, and existing or upcoming projects to implement or replace a preventative cybersecurity solution. This will also include ensuring that leads are nurtured through regular follow-ups until they are ready to engage with the sales team
  4. Qualification Criteria: Using Tenable's SDR-specific criteria to determine if a lead is Qualified and a good fit for the company's products and services.
  5. Appointment Setting: Arranging meetings or demos between qualified leads and the sales team.

  6. CRM Management

  7. Data Entry: Maintaining accurate records of interactions with leads in the CRM system.

  8. Pipeline Management: Tracking the progress of leads through the sales pipeline to ensure timely follow-ups and updates

  9. Collaboration with Sales Team:

  10. Feedback Loop: Providing feedback to the sales team on lead quality and market insights.

  11. Strategy Alignment: Working closely with the sales team to align outreach strategies and target markets

Our most successful candidates will have:

  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills; be able to communicate in a clear, constructive, and professional manner.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Computer Navigation Skills and multi-tasking.
  • Basic level familiarity of Operating System.
  • Working knowledge of Cybersecurity technologies, Networking, or system administration.
  • Should be familiar with the basics of data analysis and has intermediate knowledge with MS Office applications specially Word, Excel and Presentation required for strategic planning and business reviews.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in managing a team of tech sales representatives in a technical / SaaS environment.
  • Experience in managing a team of sales experts in a SaaS environment.
  • A pro-active attitude towards developing trust and professional rapport with team members; the ability to be a team-player.
  • Bachelor's degree or Associate Degree preferred but not required
