Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team. The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, fostering employee engagement, and supporting the overall strategic direction of the HR department. This role involves a broad range of responsibilities including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and policy implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage full-cycle recruitment: job posting, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation
- Coordinate and conduct new employee orientations and onboarding programs
- Ensure smooth integration of new hires into the organization
- Employee Relations
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and HR programs
- Assist in resolving employee relations issues and conducting investigations as necessary
- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture
- Compensation & Benefits
- Assist with benefits administration including enrollment, claims resolution, and communication
- Coordinate annual open enrollment process
- Support payroll processing by providing necessary employee data
- Knowledge in Timekeeping
- HR Compliance & Policies
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
- Maintain employee records in accordance with legal requirements and internal standards
- Support audits and reporting needs
- Performance Management & Training
- Support the performance review process and employee development programs
- Help identify training needs and coordinate internal or external training sessions
- HRIS & Reporting
- Maintain and update employee information in the HRIS
- Generate reports and HR metrics as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role
- Knowledge of employment/labor laws and HR best practices
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Must be willing to start immediately.
