Job Summary: We are seeking an HR Specialist/Generalist with 2-3 years of experience in human resources to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of HR functions, supporting the day-to-day operations of the HR department, and assisting in the implementation of HR strategies and programs. This position offers the opportunity to develop expertise across multiple HR disciplines, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment and Onboarding:

  2. Assist with job postings, resume screenings, and scheduling interviews.

  3. Conduct initial interviews and assist in the selection process.
  4. Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including new employee orientation and pre-employment requirements.
  5. Employee Relations and Engagement:

  6. Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.

  7. Support in managing employee relations issues and assist with conflict resolution.
  8. Help facilitate a positive work environment by promoting company culture and values.
  9. Performance Management:

  10. Assist in the administration of performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback sessions.

  11. Help track employee performance data and suggest improvements.
  12. HR Compliance and Policy Management:

  13. Ensure HR policies, practices and reports are in compliance with DOLE.

  14. Assist in updating and maintaining employee files and other HR documentation (DOLE Annual Reports etc).
  15. Conduct employee sessions on company policies, procedures and updates.
  16. Benefits Administration:

  17. Support the benefits enrollment process and provide assistance to employees regarding benefits options.

  18. Assist with open enrollment, benefits queries, and liaise with benefits providers.
  19. Employee Record Management:

  20. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, employment history.

  21. Ensure all HR documentation is filed and stored appropriately.
  22. Other Administrative Support:

  23. Support the HR team in various administrative tasks such as data entry, report generation, and HR-related projects.

  24. Assist with other departments if necessary

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in HR, preferably in a generalist role.
  • Knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software (e.g., HRIS systems, applicant tracking systems).
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
