The Clinic Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the clinic to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care. This role involves supervising clinical and administrative staff, managing schedules, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, and implementing policies and procedures to enhance workflow and patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of clinical and administrative staff, including nurses, medical assistants, and front desk personnel.
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day clinic operations including patient flow, appointment scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor staff performance, provide coaching, and assist in performance evaluations.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Oversee inventory of medical and office supplies and coordinate with vendors as needed.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of clinic policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Respond to and resolve patient complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports related to staffing, patient visits, and clinic performance.
  • Collaborate with physicians and leadership to enhance patient care and clinic efficiency.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the clinic environment.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related field (required).
  • Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of supervisory or managerial experience in a clinical or healthcare setting.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of healthcare laws and regulatory guidelines.
