Job Title: Clinical Applications Specialist

Position Summary:

The Clinical Applications Specialist is responsible for supporting the successful adoption, training, and clinical integration of diagnostic imaging technologies. This role collaborates closely with sales teams, radiologists, technologists, and clinical stakeholders to ensure end-users are fully trained and confident in utilizing imaging systems such as ultrasound, MRI, CT, X-ray, and nuclear medicine devices.

This role blends clinical knowledge with technical proficiency to support pre-sales demonstrations, post-sales education, and ongoing customer engagement. The ideal candidate is passionate about medical imaging, has excellent interpersonal skills, and thrives in fast-paced clinical environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily and Ongoing Support

  • Monitor and respond to clinical applications concerns via email (internal and from principals).
  • Conduct regular visits to installed base sites based on approved schedule.
  • Perform physical inspection and functional testing of machines.
  • Remind users of proper machine care and maintenance procedures.
  • Promote adoption and user engagement of clinical technologies.

Technical & Clinical Support

  • Assist with setup, configuration, and software customization for clinical systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve software/hardware issues promptly to avoid workflow disruption.
  • Monitor usage patterns and recommend enhancements or adjustments.
  • Collect and relay end-user feedback to improve system performance and usability.

Client Interaction & Engagement

  • Conduct weekly support calls or site visits to address clinical or technical concerns.
  • Review environmental conditions (room temperature, cleanliness) during visits.
  • Conduct pre-delivery, delivery, and post-delivery functional checks and live patient demos.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Submit machine status and clinical concerns reports to principals and internal supervisors.
  • Maintain and update detailed records of installed base machines and site visits.
  • Provide summary reports with recommendations for system improvements.

Training & Development

  • Attend international/national training sessions for new product introductions.
  • Participate in principal-led training on machine operations and technological updates.
  • Support conventions or exhibits by performing live machine demonstrations
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in any medical-related course or program (required)
  • PRC License Required: Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT)

  • Minimum of:

  • 1 year of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer

  • 1 year of experience as a Vascular Sonographer
  • 1 year of experience in Stress Echo, Treadmill, and Holter monitoring
  • Strong clinical background with hands-on experience in diagnostic imaging
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer engagement skills
  • Willingness to travel and work in varied clinical environments
