We are seeking a Human Resource Manager to lead and manage all HR-related operations for Mastereign Inc. in the Philippines. This role works closely with the Group HR Director in Singapore and ensures alignment between regional strategic goals and local HR implementation.
Role Summary
The HR Manager will oversee and manage the full HR function for our Philippines team, including compliance, recruitment, performance management, training, employee engagement, and welfare. You will ensure a compliant, efficient, and people-centric HR environment that supports both business objectives and employee satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Operations & Legal Compliance
- Ensure all HR practices comply with Philippine labour laws and statutory regulations (SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth, DOLE, BIR).
- Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and HR documentation for Mastereign Inc.
- Administer payroll inputs and liaise with external payroll partners as required.
- Develop and enforce company policies and SOPs tailored to the Philippines context, in alignment with Mastereign Group policies.
2. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Lead the recruitment and selection process for Mastereign Inc., including job postings, screening, interviews, and offers.
- Facilitate smooth onboarding processes for new hires and coordinate with Singapore HQ for regional hiring needs.
- Maintain an updated talent pipeline and recruitment metrics.
3. Employee Relations, Engagement & Welfare
- Act as the first point of contact for all HR matters within the Philippines team.
- Manage employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary matters in a fair and timely manner.
- Plan and execute welfare initiatives such as birthdays, virtual meetups, engagement initiatives, and employee engagement surveys.
4. Performance Management & Training
- Coordinate performance appraisal processes and goal setting exercises.
- Assist line managers in performance improvement plans and employee development conversations.
- Identify training gaps and coordinate relevant upskilling programmes and workshops for staff.
5. Strategic HR Planning & Reporting
- Provide monthly HR updates and insights to the Head of Productivity
- Contribute to workforce planning, retention strategies, and succession planning.
- Ensure alignment of local HR strategy with the overall business direction of Mastereign.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience with at least 2 years in a managerial or lead role.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine employment laws, statutory benefits, and HR practices.
- Proficient in handling HR systems, remote workforce practices, and cross-border communication.
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Experience working with multinational or regional companies is an advantage.
