We're looking for a creative and technically skilled Virtual Assistant with experience in game development and design to help bring an educational online game to life for school-aged children. This is a full-time, 6-month contract role turning ideas into a fully functioning, engaging online game — with an initial launch set for early next year.

You'll play a key role in building, designing, and managing the development process using AI-powered tools and game platforms. You'll collaborate through weekly meetings to refine ideas, create prototypes, and develop a polished final product that's fun, educational, and accessible online.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the project lead to conceptualize and execute an educational online game for school-aged children.
  • Use AI tools to streamline design and development.
  • Assist with game logic, character development, storyline creation, and interactive learning elements.
  • Manage project timelines and ensure milestones are met (initial beta launch by next month).
  • Provide graphic design and visual asset creation, ensuring the game is visually appealing and age-appropriate.
  • Research and recommend suitable game development platforms or engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine, Roblox Studio, Godot, or web-based options).
  • Coordinate testing, bug tracking, and feedback implementation.
  • Attend weekly progress meetings and communicate proactively about updates and challenges.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in game development, game design, or interactive media.
  • Strong understanding of AI integration in creative or technical workflows.
  • Familiarity with educational design principles or gamification is a plus.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).
  • Excellent communication, project management, and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
  • Available to work full time (40 hours/week) for the next 6 months.

Bonus Skills (Not Required but Advantageous):

  • Experience creating web-based games or apps for children.
  • Programming or low-code experience (e.g., Unity C#, Python, JavaScript).
  • Understanding of UX/UI principles for younger audiences.

Contract Details:

  • Type: Full-time (6 months)
  • Location: Remote
  • Start Date: Immediate (goal to launch by next month)
  • Meetings: Weekly virtual meetings with the project lead
