Our client is in need of an Employee & Labor Relations Manager. The incumbent is responsible for aligning business objectives with employee and management in designated hospital units. The position serves as consultant to the management on human resource-related issues providing solutions that will improve employee motivation and retention. Further, the role assesses and anticipates HR-related needs. The position also formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. He/She manages and resolves complex employee relations issues in the assigned hospital unit.
Major Responsibilities:
Works with the management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention.
- Develop and oversee control systems to prevent or deal with violations of standards, regulation and internal policies.
- Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
- Developing and implementing data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
- Create end to end Process Improvement Framework to ensure smooth transaction amongst functional processes.
- Supports the execution of Talent Management and Organizational Development Team in all engagement activity
- Review the ways of work to identify compliance issues and provide recommendation or training.
- Will handle employee discipline and administration.
- Will be involved in Union relations & CBA negotiations
Skills & Qualifications:
Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Psychology, Nursing or other related courses.
Minimum of 5 years work of related experience in Human Resources specializing in HR Business Partnering, Employee and Labor Relations, Business Process & Project Management.
Possesses an analytical mind able to "see" the complexities of procedures and policies.
Experience in HR Business Partnering
Has done conflict resolution
Exposure to other HR Operations (Recruitment, Employee and Labor Relations, Compensation and Benefits).
Has done change management and OD projects and initiatives
Computer Skills: MS Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word) Visual Basic
