The Employee Relations Specialist will be responsible for fostering a positive work environment, maintain employee morale, and ensuring fair and equitable treatment of all employees within the organization.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the provisions in the CRR, Employee Discipline policy and procedures are implemented accordingly.
  • Drafts and issues notices such as: Notice to Explain, Notice to Preventive Suspension, Notice of Decision and other pertinent documents related to administrative cases in the company.
  • Collaborates with HR teams to develop, update, and enforce the company policies related to employee relations, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and industry standards.
  • Conducts investigation to employee complaints, grievances or misconduct allegations. This includes gathering evidence, interviewing relevant parties, and providing recommendations for disciplinary actions or corrective measures.
  • Monitors and ensures closure of administrative cases involving direct hires. Updates the admin database.
  • Monitors and ensures closure of administrative cases endorsed to Manpower Service Providers.
  • Stays abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations, advising management on legal requirements and implications related to employee relations issues, and ensuring that HR practices and policies are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Serves as the company representative for labor cases, if needed.
  • Maintains accurate records of the employee relations issues, investigations and resolutions. Prepares report and analysis for management to identify the trends, areas for improvement and potential risk.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of employee engagement programs and effective communication strategies.
  • Collaborates with other HR functions and departments to develop and implement programs and initiatives to support employee well-being, mental health, work-life balance and overall wellness.
  • Supports the division's objectives and strategies by assisting with additional HR administration requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administrations or related courses
  • 1-2 years of experience in handling employee relations, admin cases and employment engagement activities.
  • Satisfactory verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills (for building trust, rapport and positive relationships with employees at all level of the organization)
  • Ability to analyze complex situations, identify the root causes of the employee issues, and develop creative solutions to address them.
  • Familiar with labor laws

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18, Php20,000.00 per month
