Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading all HR functions for a restaurant group, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws. This role is a key strategic partner to the leadership team, ensuring that HR initiatives align with business goals to foster a positive and productive work environment. The HR Manager is crucial for building a strong company culture, developing a talented workforce, and ensuring legal compliance across all restaurant outlets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic HR & Leadership

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that support the overall business goals of the restaurant group.
  • Serve as a key advisor to the leadership team on all HR-related matters.
  • Manage the HR budget and resources to ensure efficient operations.

2. Talent Management & Development

  • Oversee the entire recruitment and hiring process to ensure a continuous pipeline of qualified candidates for all positions, from entry-level to management.
  • Design and implement comprehensive onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
  • Develop and manage performance management systems, including performance reviews and employee development plans.
  • Identify training needs and lead the development of training programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.

3. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all employee grievances, disputes, and disciplinary matters.
  • Mediate and resolve complex employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement and recognition programs to build a positive and motivating work culture.

4. Compensation, Benefits & Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with Philippine labor laws (e.g., Labor Code, DOLE issuances), including rules on wages, benefits, and working hours.
  • Oversee payroll processing, benefits administration, and leave management.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure HR records and practices are compliant and up-to-date.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in an HR Managerial role, with a strong background in the Food & Beverage (F&B) or hospitality industry.
  • Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of Philippine labor laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Proficiency in HR Information Systems (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
