We are looking for a dynamic and experienced HR Supervisor with a strong background in recruitment and labor relations to join our growing restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be adept at attracting top talent for various restaurant roles and skillfully managing employee relations in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment. You'll be crucial in ensuring our team is well-staffed, motivated, and operates in full compliance with Philippine labor laws.
Some HR Supervisor Job Duties Include:
Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for all restaurant positions, including kitchen staff, service crew, managers, and administrative roles
Manage the full recruitment cycle: from crafting engaging job postings and sourcing candidates (job portals, social media, walk-ins, culinary schools) to screening, interviewing, and facilitating final selection.
3.Conduct interviews and assessments, ensuring candidates possess the necessary skills and a positive attitude suitable for the hospitality industry.
4.Oversee the offer negotiation process and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires, emphasizing restaurant culture and operational standards.
- Proactively build and maintain a talent pipeline to anticipate staffing needs for peak seasons, new outlet openings, and employee turnover.
6.Track recruitment metrics and provide insights to management on hiring efficiency and talent market trends within the restaurant sector.
- Ensure strict adherence to the Philippine Labor Code (DOLE regulations) and all relevant labor laws specific to the food service industry, including rules on service charges, holiday pay, and working hours.
8.Serve as the primary point of contact for all employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and labor-related inquiries, promoting a fair and respectful workplace.
9.Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into employee complaints, misconduct, and policy violations (e.g., customer complaints, cash handling discrepancies), ensuring due process is meticulously followed.
10.Prepare and issue all necessary HR documentation, such as notices to explain, notices of decision, and warning letters, in compliance with legal requirements.
11.Represent the company in conciliation and mediation proceedings with the NLRC or other government bodies, if necessary, particularly concerning labor disputes common in the industry.
12.Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that support a positive work environment, high service standards, and legal compliance.
13.Provide guidance and training to restaurant managers and supervisors on labor laws, HR policies, performance management, and effective team leadership.
