Your role

As a Reservation Agent, you will:

Be responsible for delivering quality customer service while assisting guests in planning and booking hotel reservations. Conversion and call-handling measurements will be in place to drive channel production and focus on profit conversion. Ensuring accurate reservation data for hotel operations will be a key priority. Additionally, this role will provide administrative support to the in-field sales team.

FINANCIAL RETURNS

• Maximise revenue through upselling, accurate reservations, and effective inventory control
• Ensure accurate rate loading, content updates, and PMS data integrity across all channels
• Monitor groups, allotments, refunds, and reporting to optimise yield and performance

PEOPLE

• Foster teamwork, communication, and strong cross-department relationships
• Participate in training, meetings, and uphold standards of professionalism
• Maintain tidy workspaces, comply with WH&S, and provide clear shift handovers

GUEST EXPERIENCE

• Deliver prompt, professional guest service, recognising VIPs and loyalty members
• Manage reservations, requests, and issues with effective service recovery
• Optimise occupancy and average rate under Revenue Centre guidance

RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS

• Adhere to company policies, codes of conduct, and safety/security standards
• Support WH&S, emergency procedures, and hazard/risk reporting
• Ensure compliance with credit, data privacy, cyber security, and timekeeping policies

• Professional, personable, and proactive with a hands-on, "can-do" attitude
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Patient and calm, able to make informed decisions under pressure
• Passionate about delivering superior results with efficiency and accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and confident using a variety of IT platforms

• Strong keyboard and data entry skills with attention to detail
