Procurement Assistant (Construction Materials) – Remote, Philippines

Position: Purchasing Assistant – Construction Materials

Location: Fully Remote (Philippines)

Employment Type: Full-Time

The Purchasing Assistant will play a critical role in ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of construction materials. This position is fully remote, based in the Philippines, and will work closely with our U.S.-based project managers, as well as vendors and suppliers across the United States, Vietnam, China, and other international markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and procure construction materials according to project requirements.
  • Request and compare supplier quotations to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Maintain accurate purchase orders, invoices, and supplier records.
  • Track material deliveries and follow up with vendors on order status.
  • Assist in negotiating contracts and payment terms with suppliers from multiple countries.
  • Coordinate with project managers to anticipate material needs and avoid delays.
  • Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and budget guidelines.
  • Prepare regular purchasing reports and cost analyses.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain (construction industry experience highly preferred).
  • Experience coordinating with international suppliers (U.S., Vietnam, China, etc.) is a strong plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and online procurement platforms.
  • Strong English communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with U.S. construction materials and suppliers is a plus.
