About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Assistant to support our finance and operations team. This role will focus on bookkeeping, BIR compliance, payroll preparation, procurement coordination, and general administrative finance tasks to ensure smooth and accurate financial processes for our hospitality and wellness operations.
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping & Records Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Encode transactions, prepare journal entries, and assist with monthly account reconciliations
- Monitor Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Track operating expenses and petty cash liquidations
BIR Compliance
- Assist in the preparation and filing of BIR forms and ensure timely compliance and payment
- Maintain organized BIR books and tax documentation
- Monitor deadlines and ensure timely submissions and payments
Payroll & HR Support
- Assist in payroll calculation and disbursement
- Track employee attendance and benefits contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG)
- Prepare payroll-related reports and documentation
Procurement & Documentation
- Prepare and process PRs (Purchase Requests) and POs (Purchase Orders)
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding quotations, deliveries, and documentation
- Prepare and collect official receipts, sales invoices, and acknowledgment receipts
- Organize and file payment vouchers, receipts, and supporting documents
Administrative & Coordination
- Support internal departments with finance-related requirements
- Coordinate disbursement schedules and follow up on collections
- Assist in audit preparation and other ad-hoc tasks as required
Qualifications
- Graduate of Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience in bookkeeping and BIR compliance preferred (hospitality experience a plus)
- Familiar with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Excel/Google Sheets)
- Strong understanding of Philippine tax basics and payroll process
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management
- Ability to work independently with integrity and confidentiality
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: Php15, Php25,000.00 per month
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
