Position Overview:
The Senior Sales Manager is a strategic revenue leader responsible for driving room sales across corporate, government, travel trade, groups, and OTA channels. This role combines business development, account management, and team leadership to achieve The Muse Hotel Boracay's occupancy and revenue goals.
The Senior Sales Manager must be strategic, goal-oriented, and client-focused, with the emotional intelligence to manage relationships, resilience to handle high-pressure environments, and the vision to grow the hotel's market share. This is both a hands-on and leadership role, ideal for someone ready to own a portfolio and mentor a sales team in a fast-paced, boutique hospitality setting. This role also requires strong participation in tourism associations, government networks, and industry events that impact market visibility and institutional partnerships.
Responsibility:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans across all business segments
- Lead and close high-value accounts (corporate, gov't, group, agency, OTA)
- Oversee performance of all sales activities and promotions
- Coach and guide sales executives (if applicable) to reach individual targets
- Monitor OTA channels, B2B rates, and corporate account performance
- Collaborate with marketing to launch tactical campaigns and brand activations
- Represent the hotel at sales missions, expos, and B2B events
- Submit accurate sales forecasts, reports, and pipeline updates
- Maintain high client satisfaction and loyalty across key accounts
- Ensure revenue targets and market share growth are met or exceeded
- Build and maintain partnerships with tourism boards, DOT, LGUs, and travel associations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism, or Hospitality
- Minimum 3-5 years of hotel sales experience across B2B and B2C segments
- Strong network or background in working with government tourism agencies, LGUs, DOT, and related travel associations
- Proven record of achieving revenue targets and growing key accounts
- Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in CRM tools, OTA extranets, and revenue management systems
- Must demonstrate a strong sense of professionalism, diplomacy, and strategic insight
- Willing to travel for expos, government bidding events, and tourism gathering
