We're looking for a Senior Business Development Manager for an e-sports events organizing company.

The Senior Business Development Manager (Sr. BDM) is a key driver of the company's growth strategy, responsible for leading business acquisition efforts, building high-level client relationships, and expanding the organization's footprint in the esports, gaming, and creative industries. Beyond managing their own portfolio, the Sr. BDM provides strategic direction and mentorship to the Business Development team, ensuring the achievement of revenue targets and long-term client partnerships.

This role requires a dynamic leader who can combine market insight, consultative selling, and team leadership to generate sustainable business growth while strengthening the company's position as a trusted partner in event production, brand activations, creative services, social media marketing, and related agency offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Growth & Strategy

  • Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to achieve revenue objectives and drive market expansion.
  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities across esports, gaming, entertainment, and advertising sectors, as well as adjacent industries.
  • Build long-term partnerships with senior decision-makers, positioning the agency as a preferred partner for large-scale and high-value projects.
  • Stay ahead of market trends, competitor activities, and client demands to inform sales strategies and identify untapped opportunities.

2. High-Level Client Engagement

  • Lead high-stakes client pitches, sponsorship frameworks, and partnership negotiations.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives and brand leaders, offering insights that align with their business goals and KPIs.
  • Represent the agency at major industry events, conferences, and networking forums, strengthening visibility and credibility.

3. Leadership & Team Development

  • Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to Business Development Managers and Associates to enhance their effectiveness in lead generation, pipeline management, and client engagement.
  • Oversee pipeline performance across the team, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment with organizational growth objectives.
  • Set clear performance goals, track progress, and drive accountability across the business development function.

4. Collaboration & Deal Execution

  • Work closely with Account Managers to ensure seamless transition of qualified leads into project execution.
  • Oversee and participate in contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms and alignment with company goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams --including creative, production, and strategy -- to deliver client-centric solutions.

5. Reporting & Forecasting

  • Maintain oversight of CRM records, ensuring accurate sales forecasting and reporting.
  • Present regular updates on pipeline performance, market insights, and revenue projections to senior leadership.
  • Provide recommendations on resource allocation, service positioning, and partnership opportunities based on data-driven insights.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 5–7 years of progressive experience in business development, sales, or account management, with at least 3 years in a senior/leadership capacity.
  • Proven track record of securing high-value deals and driving business growth in esports, gaming, entertainment, or related industries.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and managing business development teams.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven, and dynamic environment.

Work Schedule:

  • Onsite reporting
  • Monday to Friday, following a compressed workweek setup.
  • Employees may start as early as 7:00AM to 5:00PM; or as late as 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM

Salary Package:

  • Basic Salary
  • HMO
  • Leave Credits

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php30, Php50,000.00 per month
