We're Hiring: Business Development Associate – Trader Wet Market Segment

Location: Sucat, Parañaque City

Department: Sales | Reporting to: Sales Manager

Salary Range: PHP 28,000 – 35,000

Job Overview:

  • We're seeking a Business Development Associate with strong trading experience and deep wet market knowledge to grow our client base in the meat and seafood trading space. You'll handle prospecting, deal closing, and relationship building with wet market suppliers and buyers.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Prospect and close new business opportunities via calls, visits, and digital channels
    • Qualify leads and understand client needs
    • Present offerings and manage trade deals
    • Maintain pipeline data in CRM systems
    • Collaborate with the marketing team for campaign-based lead generation
    • Meet or exceed monthly acquisition goals

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience in wet market sales, trading, or business development
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage pricing
  • Extensive local market knowledge and supplier network
  • Hands-on experience in wet market customer relationship management
  • Familiarity with commodity trading or high-volume/low-margin transactions
  • Goal-driven, proactive, and resilient under rejection
  • Open to travel and fieldwork

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or any related field
