Job Highlights

Contract: Independent Contractor
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm CST (with a 30-minute paid break) Compensation: Base salary + performance-based bonuses
About the Role
We're building a platform that enables restaurants and food businesses to own their online ordering, loyalty and POS integrations, and marketing stack. You'll join a fast-paced SaaS/tech environment focused on serving restaurant clients, food operators, and partners. As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will act as an early point of contact to generate new business opportunities and build sales pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect new restaurant or food service leads via outbound channels (cold calls, emails, social media)
  • Qualify incoming inbound leads, assess fit, and hand off to Account Executives
  • Conduct product discovery conversations, understand pain points and needs
  • Manage and track all activity, outreach, and pipeline in CRM
  • Collaborate with marketing to align messaging, campaigns, and lead generation efforts
  • Maintain a consistent cadence of outreach and follow-ups
  • Achieve or exceed monthly/quarterly lead and opportunity generation targets
  • Provide feedback from prospects to product and marketing teams to help refine positioning
Requirements
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or SDR/BDR role (preferably in SaaS, tech, or restaurant/food tech)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable with cold outreach (calls, email, LinkedIn)
  • Ability to ask probing questions, listen, and uncover needs
  • Organized and detail-oriented; experience using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and goal-driven
  • Familiarity or interest in the restaurant, hospitality or food-tech space is a plus
  • Ability to work in CST timezone hours
