About the role
The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This role supports business needs and ensures the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives. The HR Manager is tasked with handling all personnel-related matters including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compliance, compensation and benefits, and organizational development.
1. HR Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior management on human capital matters.
- Foster a positive workplace culture that aligns with company values.
2. Recruitment & Staffing
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
- Collaborate with department heads to forecast staffing needs and manage manpower planning.
- Ensure effective onboarding and orientation of new hires.
3. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
- Promote employee engagement initiatives and manage employee satisfaction surveys.
- Develop and enforce company policies in line with labor laws and best practices.
4. Performance Management
- Implement and maintain performance appraisal systems.
- Guide managers on employee development and performance improvement plans.
- Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development programs.
5. Compensation & Benefits
- Administer payroll, benefits, and reward systems.
- Review and benchmark compensation structures to ensure competitiveness.
- Ensure compliance with statutory compensation regulations.
6. HR Operations & Compliance
- Maintain HR records, systems, and reports in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Ensure the company is compliant with labor laws, health and safety regulations, and other relevant legislation.
- Lead audits and prepare HR reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) is an advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Proven experience in handling end-to-end HR functions and personnel management.
Skills:
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Solid understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

- High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Strategic thinker with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
