Job Description: HR Generalist
Position Overview

The HR Generalist is responsible for managing day-to-day human resources operations, ensuring compliance with Philippine labor laws, and supporting the organization's people strategy. This role covers the full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, compensation and benefits, and HR policy implementation.


Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment process: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placement.
  • Prepare job postings, coordinate with hiring managers, and conduct background checks.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation and ensure smooth onboarding of employees.
Employee Relations
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances.
  • Promote positive employee relations and engagement initiatives.
  • Assist in handling disciplinary actions in compliance with the Labor Code of the Philippines.
Performance Management
  • Support the implementation of performance appraisal systems.
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance expectations and improvement plans.
  • Monitor probationary evaluations and regularization processes.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Assist in payroll preparation and ensure accurate employee records.
  • Process government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR).
  • Coordinate with finance regarding salary adjustments, allowances, and benefits administration.
HR Compliance & Administration
  • Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook.
  • Ensure compliance with DOLE regulations, occupational safety, and other labor requirements.
  • Keep accurate and updated employee files and HRIS data.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Atleast 1 year of relevant HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and statutory benefits.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications; experience with HRIS is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain confidentiality.
