Position overview:
The HR Generalist will manage and oversee various HR functions including government-mandated benefits, health and insurance benefits, employee onboarding, employee movements, offboarding processes, and the issuance of HR-related documents. This role ensures compliance with all HR policies and government regulations and supports employees throughout their employment lifecycle. The HR Generalist will work closely with the HR team to ensure all HR processes are efficient, accurate, and timely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Government Mandated Benefits Management:
- Oversee and manage government benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, PAG-IBIG), ensuring that all employees are correctly enrolled and that their records are updated regularly.
- Manage benefit transactions including deletions, updates, loan applications, and claims processing for SSS, PhilHealth, and PAG-IBIG.
- Post monthly contributions accurately and on time to ensure compliance with government regulations.
- Serve as the point of contact for employees regarding their government benefits, answering inquiries and resolving issues.
- Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) Benefits:
- Responsible for HMO enrollment, ensuring all qualified employees are properly enrolled and receive their company-sponsored health benefits.
- Responsible for HMO applications and deletions, ensuring accurate and timely changes to employee health insurance coverage.
- Facilitate HMO claims applications, ensuring employees' medical claims are processed smoothly and according to company policies.
- Insurance Benefits Management:
- Responsible for insurance enrollment and deletions to ensure that employees are covered under company-provided insurance benefits.
- Assist employees with insurance claims applications, ensuring timely and accurate processing of claims.
- Ensure regular updates on employee insurance coverage and resolve any issues related to claims or policy changes.
- Employee Onboarding
- Responsible for employee onboarding processes, ensuring that all new hires have completed the necessary paperwork and requirements before their first day of work.
- Ensure that all employee requirements are met including medical exams, NBI clearances, government-issued numbers (SSS, PhilHealth, PAG-IBIG), HRIS encoding and Unionbank payroll accounts enrollment.
- Ensure that new employees are provided with the proper orientation regarding company policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Employee Movements Management:
- Manage employee movements such as regularization, transfers, and changes in position or location.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance for any employee transfer or promotion.
- Track and manage probationary period evaluations for employees and ensure smooth transitions from probationary to regular employment.
- Offboarding Process:
- Responsible for offboarding process for employees who resign, go AWOL, or are terminated during probation.
- Ensure exit interviews are conducted to gather employee feedback and identify any potential areas for improvement in the company.
- Ensure all clearance processes are completed, including return of company property, equipment, and access credentials.
- Coordinate with the Accounting Department to ensure all final payments and clearances are processed in a timely manner.
- Employee Documentation and certification
- Provide and manage requests for HR-related documents, including but not limited to:
- Certificate of Employment for employees.
- Government Mandated Contribution Certifications (SSS, PhilHealth, PAG-IBIG).
b. Ensure that requested documents are accurate, complete, and issued within the required timeframe.
- General HR Support
- Assist with various HR functions as needed, including employee relations, employee engagement, and compliance with labor laws.
- Maintain employee records and ensure that they are updated accurately and stored securely.
- Support the HR department in reporting and compliance, ensuring adherence to labor laws and company policies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php25, Php27,000.00 per month
