About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Merchandising Manager to support the development and execution of merchandise strategies across retail channels. This role involves collaborating with suppliers, analyzing sales performance, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals—especially in the luxury retail space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing merchandise strategies to align with company goals

  • Conduct market research and trend analysis to guide assortment decisions

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors

  • Collaborate with marketing to plan promotional campaigns and product launches

  • Manage inventory levels and pricing strategies to maximize profitability

  • Analyze sales data and customer feedback to optimize merchandise mix

  • Support seasonal planning and execution of in-store promotions

  • Coordinate with departments like Operations, Finance, and Marketing to meet merchandising goals

  • Maintain updated knowledge of market competitors and industry trends

  • Visit stores regularly to assess performance and ensure merchandising standards

  • Assist in budget planning and performance reviews related to merchandising

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field

  • At least 2–3 years of experience in merchandising or a related field

  • Experience in luxury watches, fashion accessories, or high-end retail is a strong advantage

  • Familiar with SM consignment and department store operations

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • No buying/purchasing responsibilities

  • Can start immediately
