Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Developing and executing merchandise strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  2. Conducting market research and identifying trends to stay up-to-date with industry changes and consumer demand.
  3. Creating and maintaining relationships with key vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of merchandise.
  4. Developing pricing strategies and managing inventory levels to maximize profitability.
  5. Collaborating with marketing teams to plan promotions and advertising campaigns for merchandise.
  6. Analyzing sales and customer feedback to make data-driven decisions about merchandise selection and promotion.
  7. Analyzing sales data to identify trends and update merchandise strategies accordingly.
  8. Developing annual merchandise budgets and making adjustments based on performance and changes in market conditions.
  9. Coordinating with other departments such as marketing, operations, and finance to achieve merchandise goals.
  10. Conducting competitor analysis and staying up-to-date with industry trends to make informed decisions about merchandise procurement.
  11. Planning and preparing for seasonal merchandise changes and promotions.
  12. Building and maintaining relationships with key vendors and suppliers.
  13. Visiting stores to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and products.
  14. Developing and maintaining policies and procedures related to merchandise procurement and management.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Proven 5 to 10 years experience in merchandising or similar field;
  • Familiarity with luxury watch or high-end brand (retail fashion & accessories) industry, a plus;
  • Experience in SM consignment and other department stores
  • Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving;
  • Excellent math and numerical skills;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities;
  • Skillful in developing and implementing effective merchandising strategies;
  • Knowledge of market trends and principles;
  • No buying/purchasing required;
  • Adept in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook);
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline;
  • Can start immediately.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities;
  • Skillful in developing and implementing effective merchandising strategies;
  • Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills;
