About the role

As a Merchandising Assistant at PTC Commercial Corporation, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimising the visual appeal and product presentation across our retail stores in Tondo, Manila City. Reporting to the Merchandising Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring our products are displayed in an engaging and effective manner to drive sales and enhance the customer experience. This is a full-time position based in our Tondo retail locations.

What you'll be doing

  • Collaborating with the Merchandising Manager to develop and implement effective in-store merchandising plans and strategies
  • Ensuring all products are displayed according to established brand guidelines and store policies
  • Maintaining store shelves, displays and fixtures to a high standard of presentation
  • Replenishing and restocking products as needed to maintain an organised and well-stocked store
  • Providing feedback and recommendations to the Merchandising Manager on ways to improve visual merchandising and product presentation
  • Assisting with the set-up and dismantling of seasonal and promotional displays
  • Collaborating with the sales team to ensure a seamless and cohesive customer experience

What we're looking for

  • 1-2 years of experience in a retail merchandising or visual merchandising role
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Creative flair and an eye for design and visual presentation
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow instructions
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to support store operations
