About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant to join our dynamic team at Yek Yeu Merchandising, Inc. This full-time position is based in Binondo, Manila City, Metro Manila. In this role, you will provide vital support to our accounting department, ensuring accurate financial records and assisting with a variety of accounting tasks.

What you'll be doing

  • Performing data entry and maintaining accurate accounting records
  • Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports
  • Reconciling bank statements and accounts payable/receivable
  • Processing invoices, expenses, and other accounting-related documents
  • Providing administrative support to the accounting team as needed
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure financial information is accurate and up-to-date

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in the retail or merchandising industry
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers
  • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to priorities tasks and work well under pressure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
