This is an exciting opportunity for an Operations Officer with excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills and a genuine service focus. The successful candidate has experience in the marine industry in a similar role and enjoys a fast-paced environment.

The role of the Operations Officer is to ensure that company port operations are carried out in an effective and timely manner.

Responsibilities of the role include;

  • Manage a busy inbox and respond to correspondence and queries.
  • Liaise with Superintendents, valued clients, agents and other third parties, arranging vessel attendance and transport.
  • Monitor vessel movements and update attendances as required.
  • Completion and vetting of inspection reports.
  • Ad hoc administration duties as required including but not limited to data entry and travel bookings.

Skill and Experience requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Sound MS Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Excellent English and strong communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Positive team player
  • Proactive problem solver

The position requires some shift work, including occasional weekends. Access to a home office and reliable internet access required. Equipment and training provided.
