Job Title: Payroll Officer / Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Officer / Accounts Payable Specialist to manage payroll processing and accounts payable functions for our operations in Queensland, Australia. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using Jonas Premier software, along with strong accounting and administrative skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process end-to-end payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
  • Handle accounts payable tasks, including invoice verification, data entry, and payment processing.
  • Maintain employee records, timesheets, and payroll documentation.
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Use Jonas Premier software for payroll and accounting tasks.
  • Prepare payroll reports and ensure compliance with Australian tax and superannuation requirements.
  • Support the finance team with general accounting and administrative duties.

Qualifications:

  • 2–3 years of experience in payroll and accounts payable roles.
  • Proficiency with Jonas Premier software (required).
  • Strong knowledge of Australian payroll regulations and accounting principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Available to work within the QLD, Australia time zone.
