About the role

As an Accounting and Finance Supervisor at Chunnel and Channel Realty Marketing and Development Corp.', you will play a vital role in overseeing the company's financial operations and reporting. Based in Dasmarinas City Cavite, this full-time position will see you lead a team of accounting professionals to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all financial records and statements.

What you'll be doing

  1. Supervising and coordinating the work of the accounting team to guarantee the smooth and efficient processing of all financial transactions
  2. Preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
  3. Analysing financial data and providing insightful reports to support decision-making at the management level
  4. Implementing and maintaining robust internal control systems to safeguard the company's financial assets
  5. Liaising with external auditors and regulatory bodies to facilitate seamless audits and compliance
  6. Mentoring and developing the accounting team to enhance their skills and foster a culture of continuous improvement

What we're looking for

  1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred
  2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the accounting and finance function, preferably in the real estate industry
  3. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic recommendations
  4. Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of developing and motivating accounting professionals
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders
  6. Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
  7. Thorough understanding of relevant accounting standards, regulations, and best practices
