About the role

We are looking for a talented and driven Junior Accountant to join our team at Chunnel and Channel Realty Marketing and Development Corp.'. As a Junior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in the financial operations of our company, based in Dasmarinas City Cavite. What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
  • Perform data analysis and provide insights to support decision-making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial information is communicated effectively
  • Comply with all relevant accounting standards, policies, and procedures
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and controls

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the real estate or property development industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Proficient in accounting software, spreadsheets, and other financial reporting tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively
  • Knowledge of financial accounting principles, standards, and regulations
  • Commitment to professional development and continuous learning
