About the role

Chunnel and Channel Realty Marketing and Development Corp. is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in Dasmarinas City Cavite. As a full-time Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's financial accounting and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements
  2. Manage the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll and other key accounting functions
  3. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial data and records
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making
  5. Implement and maintain effective internal controls and accounting policies
  6. Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices
  7. Mentor and train junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development

What we're looking for

  1. Proven track record of at least 5 years of post-qualification experience in a senior accounting role, preferably within the real estate industry
  2. Excellent understanding of Financial Accounting & Reporting standards and principles
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and present insights
  4. Proficient in the use of accounting software and tools, such as ERP systems and spreadsheet applications
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  6. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification or equivalent
  7. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and compliance
