About the role

We are seeking an exceptional Accounting Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Chunnel and Channel Realty Marketing and Development Corp.'. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting for our company in Dasmarinas City Cavite. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial information to support the strategic decision-making of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

  1. Supervising and managing the accounting team to ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled
  2. Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulations
  3. Analysing financial data and providing insights to support business planning and decision-making
  4. Implementing and maintaining effective internal controls to safeguard the company's assets
  5. Liaising with external auditors and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
  6. Mentoring and developing the accounting team to enhance their skills and support their professional growth
  7. Continuously improving accounting processes and procedures to drive efficiency and accuracy

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar accounting supervisor or manager role, preferably in the real estate or property development industry
  2. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is an advantage
  3. Excellent knowledge of financial accounting principles, GAAP, and financial reporting standards
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights
  5. Proficient in using accounting software and Excel for financial analysis and reporting
  6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  7. Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
