We are seeking a seasoned business development professional to expand their expertise in the education technology sector. This role is ideal for individuals looking to drive new business opportunities and partnerships across Southeast Asia.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new business opportunities and partnerships across Southeast Asia, focusing on promoting and expanding LANGUAGECERT portfolio.
- Key responsibilities include identifying and developing business opportunities through direct sales and channel partnerships, building and managing a strong pipeline of leads and key accounts, and forging and nurturing high-impact relationships with senior decision-makers in language education and assessment.
Additional responsibilities include ensuring market penetration and brand awareness of LANGUAGECERT certifications in both public and private sectors, participating in trade shows, language education events, and strategic forums across the region, and collaborating cross-functionally with global product and marketing teams to drive local adaptation and growth.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree (postgraduate qualification is a plus)
- 10+ years' experience in business development ideally in the language testing, education, EdTech, or certification sectors
- Proven success in consultative B2B sales and partnership development
- Deep understanding of the language learning and assessment landscape in Southeast Asia, including key stakeholders, regulatory environments, and market trends
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
