Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for efficiently removing deposits from power plant condensers and heat exchangers to restore, improve, and maintain their optimal operating performance.

Your role will involve traveling extensively throughout the US, often at short notice, to perform work in various customer facilities. Airfare, lodging, and daily per-diem will be provided.

This is a 100% traveling job, requiring you to spend extended periods away from home. If you possess excellent communication skills, can work independently, and have experience with troubleshooting and repair equipment, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean condenser and heat exchange tubes using water pump systems and assorted tube cleaners.
  • Maintain pressure gauge readings to identify drops or rises in water pump system pressure.
  • Lift, transport, assemble, and disassemble equipment weighing up to 50 lbs when loading/unloading vehicles and setting up at job sites.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on all service equipment.
  • Set up support equipment as needed (generator and compressor).
  • Familiarize yourself with Conco's Safety Policies & Procedure Manual and adhere to its guidelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools.
  • Ability to travel nationwide with short notice.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Troubleshooting and equipment repair experience.
  • Able to read, write, and understand information effectively.
Benefits and Work Environment

You will work in remote or industrial locations, such as oil rigs, refineries, or industrial plants. The work environment involves exposure to loud noise, heavy machinery, and hazardous materials. Safety protocols are rigorously followed, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including hard hats, gloves, and high-visibility clothing is provided to minimize risks.

Rotational schedules and extended shifts are common. You will spend time traveling between job sites and working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including rain, heat, and cold.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods (8+ hours per day).
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching in different work environments.
  • Lifting and carrying tools, equipment, and materials up to 50 lbs (occasionally heavier with assistance).
  • Operating hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery safely.
  • Dexterity to perform fine motor tasks, such as wiring, assembling, or troubleshooting equipment.
  • Driving for extended periods to custom sites, sometimes in remote locations.
  • Working in confined spaces, like crawl spaces, attics, or utility areas.
