Job Description

Planate Management Group seeks an experienced Local Communications Network Specialist to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for assessing, configuring, and maintaining local communications networks at various project sites across the country.

The specialist will play a crucial role in integrating LCN components with surveillance systems such as radar, AIS, and EO/IR, ensuring secure, stable, and efficient communications. Additionally, they will contribute to equipment procurement, installation, and sustainment planning.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in telecommunications, electronics, or a related field.
  • Over 5 years of direct experience in the design, installation, and maintenance of Local Communication Networks (LCNs).
  • Familiarity with maritime and coastal surveillance communications infrastructure, including knowledge of existing systems, networks, and technologies used for vessel monitoring, radar, AIS, and related communication platforms.
  • Expertise in HF/VHF/UHF radio systems, including their configuration, operation, and maintenance for maritime and coastal surveillance applications.
  • Ability to provide technical support, conduct system diagnostics, and recommend solutions for optimizing communications infrastructure performance.
