Job Description

Filinvest Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Crimson Hotel Filinvest City Manila. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in a fast-paced hotel environment.

The successful candidate will oversee the general operation, cleanliness, and maintenance of all areas of Housekeeping, working closely with the Executive Housekeeper and other departments to ensure seamless operations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • To prepare shift reports for the Executive Housekeeper, ensuring timely and accurate information is provided.
  • To train, evaluate, and motivate staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • To maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the department, including guestrooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
  • To manage stock records and supplies, ensuring sufficient inventory levels are maintained.
  • To conduct refresher trainings for Housekeeping employees, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
  • To maintain a strong working relationship with other departments, particularly Front Office and Maintenance, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • To handle guest complaints and missing or damaged items in guestrooms, providing prompt and professional resolutions.
  • To prioritize VIP guests and ensure they receive superior service, exceeding their expectations.
  • To enforce cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • To record maintenance and defects found in rooms and corridors, reporting issues to Engineering through the Coordinator.
  • To ensure that any required repairs/maintenance are completed as soon as possible, minimizing disruptions to guest services.
  • To provide Room Attendants with proper tools and adequate supplies for daily operations.
  • To ensure that pantries are adequately stocked with linen according to set policies, neatly organized, and their doors kept closed at all times.
  • To conduct daily staff briefings, keeping employees informed and engaged.
  • To prepare daily shift rosters and maintain absence statistics, ensuring efficient workforce management.
  • To ensure that all employees on guest/public areas wear their nametags and are properly groomed, projecting a professional image.
  • To conduct quality inspections of assigned guestrooms, verifying compliance with company standards.
  • To prepare Room Inspection Checklists for every room released to Vacant Clean.
  • To assess room situations and place out-of-order status as deemed necessary.
  • To ensure that lost and found items in guest rooms are declared by Attendants and stored properly.
  • To endorse necessary information within the shift on the Supervisors' log book.
  • To analyze training needs, schedule, and conduct training sessions, enhancing employee skills and knowledge.
  • To implement safety standards and conduct training, prioritizing employee well-being and safety.
  • To analyze and make recommendations for Room Attendants' performance, driving continuous improvement.
  • To prepare cleaning schedules for the whole year and ensure full implementation, maintaining consistency and efficiency.
  • To conduct pantry inventory prior to requesting from storeroom, optimizing supply chain management.
  • To practice good expense management and implement cost-saving measures in the department.
  • To conduct inventory for supplies, room equipment, and machines, reporting losses, breakages, discards, or proposing repairs.
  • To record critical incidents, share problems, and discuss solutions with the team, fostering a culture of open communication.
