Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per annum

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Crimson Hotel Filinvest City Manila. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the general operation, cleanliness, and maintenance of all areas of Housekeeping.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare shift reports for the Executive Housekeeper;
  • Train, evaluate, and motivate staff;
  • Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness in all areas of the department;
  • Ensure sufficient stock of cleaning and guest supplies is available;
  • Conduct refresher trainings for all Housekeeping employees;
  • Maintain stock inventories whenever required;
  • Main¬tain a strong working relationship with other departments, especially Front Office and Maintenance;
  • Handle guest complaints and missing or damaged items in guestrooms;
  • Prioritize VIPs and ensure they receive superior service;
  • Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are strictly observed;
  • Record maintenance and defects found in rooms and corridors, and send a report to Engineering through the Coordinator;
  • Ensure required repairs/maintenance are completed as soon as possible;
  • Provide Room Attendants with proper tools and adequate supplies for daily operations;
  • Ensure pantries are adequately stocked with linen according to set policies, neatly organized, and their doors kept closed at all times;
  • Conduct daily staff briefings;
  • Prepare daily shift roster and maintain absence statistics;
  • Ensure employees on guest/public areas wear nametags and are properly groomed;
  • Conduct quality inspection of all guestrooms assigned or 30 to 40 rooms per day regardless of status;
  • Prepare Room Inspection Checklist for every room released to Vacant Clean;
  • Assess room situation and put in out-of-order status as deemed necessary;
    Ensure lost & found items in guest rooms are declared by Attendants & stored properly;
  • Endorse necessary information within the shift on the Supervisors log book;
  • Analyze training needs, schedule, and conduct training;
  • Implement safety standards and conduct training;
  • Analyze and make recommendations for Room Attendants performance;
    Prepare cleaning schedule for the whole year and ensure full implementation;
  • Conduct pantry inventory prior requesting from storeroom;
  • Practice good expense management and implement the same in the department;
  • Conduct inventory for supplies, room equipment, and machines, then report losses, breakages, discards, or propose repairs;
  • Record critical incidents, share problems, and discuss solutions to the team;
  • Perform other duties that may be assigned by the Executive Housekeeper or Assistant;
