Job Title: Jira Operations Specialist

About the Role:

  • Provide high-level Atlassian administration, encompassing user, group, role, and permission management, routine maintenance, upgrades, and backups.
  • Design and optimize workflows, fields, screens, and automation rules to reduce manual effort.
  • Create and maintain projects, boards, dashboards, filters, and actionable reports.
  • Track licenses, reconcile invoices, right-size tiers, and recommend savings on apps and subscriptions.
  • Evaluate, implement, and maintain Marketplace apps; integrate Jira with CI/CD, chat, and other business tools.
  • Offer second-line support, run training sessions, and maintain clear documentation and knowledge articles.
  • Ensure security and compliance, document configurations, and champion ongoing process improvements.

Requirements:

  • At least 2+ years of proven Jira/Atlassian administration experience (cloud).
  • A solid grasp of Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and ITSM (ITIL, SLAs, queues).
  • Experience managing SaaS licenses, budgets, or cost-control initiatives.
  • Proficiency in scripting/automation (Groovy, Jira Automation, REST API) and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent English communication; comfortable training non-technical users.
  • A reliable home office setup and stable internet connection.
