Job Title:

Jira Developer and Administrator

About the Role:

This is a challenging opportunity to combine technical expertise in Jira administration with development capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and maintain Jira Cloud instances, prioritizing operational stability and user support
  • Develop custom applications using Atlassian Forge with both UI Kit and Custom UI (ReactJS)
  • Configure and optimize Jira Service Management for external customer service desk and internal team workflows
  • Manage Jira Assets for comprehensive IT asset and configuration management
  • Create and maintain complex automation rules using Jira Automation
  • Develop REST API integrations to connect Jira with other business systems
  • Collaborate with regional administrators to ensure 24/7 service continuity
  • Support service and operations teams with technical guidance and troubleshooting
  • Implement security best practices and maintaining compliance standards
  • Document technical solutions and create user guides
  • Lead technical initiatives that directly impact customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior development role
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Jira administration and configuration
  • Proven expertise in Atlassian Forge development using both UI Kit and Custom UI
  • Strong ReactJS development skills for building custom user interfaces
  • Experience with Jira Service Management in a customer-facing environment
  • Proficiency in REST API integration
  • Experience with Jira Assets configuration and management
  • Understanding of ITSM/ITIL principles and best practices
  • Advanced knowledge of Jira Cloud platform, including JQL, workflows, schemes, and permissions
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
