THE ROLE
The Jira Administrator/Developer will join our Service Management Office team, working collaboratively with administrators across 3 global locations in a follow-the-sun model. This role combines technical expertise in Jira administration with development capabilities to enhance our Jira Service Management platform, supporting both external customer service operations and internal teams.

OPPORTUNITIES

• You will a dminister and maintain Jira Cloud instances, prioritizing operational stability and user support
• You will develop custom applications using Atlassian Forge with both UI Kit and Custom UI (ReactJS)
• You will configure and optimize Jira Service Management for external customer service desk and internal team workflows
• You will manage Jira Assets for comprehensive IT asset and configuration management
• You will create and maintain complex automation rules using Jira Automation
• You will develop REST API integrations to connect Jira with other business systems
• You will collaborate with regional administrators to ensure 24/7 service continuity
• You will support service and operations teams with technical guidance and troubleshooting
• You will implement security best practices and maintaining compliance standards
• You will document technical solutions and creating user guides
• You will lead technical initiatives that directly impact customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
• You will collaborate with a global team of experts in a follow-the-sun support model

Skills

• You should have 5+ years of experience in a senior development role
• You should have 3+ years of hands-on experience with Jira administration and configuration
• You should have proven expertise in Atlassian Forge development using both UI Kit and Custom UI
• You should have strong ReactJS development skills for building custom user interfaces
• You should have experience with Jira Service Management in a customer-facing environment
• You should have proficiency in REST API integration
• You should have experience with Jira Assets configuration and management
• You should have understanding of ITSM/ITIL principles and best practices
• You should have advanced knowledge of Jira Cloud platform, including JQL, workflows, schemes, and permissions
• You should have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• You should be self-motivated with ability to work independently in a distributed team environment
