We're looking for results-driven individuals who can effectively communicate with customers to resolve outstanding balances. As a Collections Representative, you will be responsible for negotiating payment arrangements and settlements while maintaining a professional and empathetic approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact customers regarding overdue accounts via phone and email.
  • Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements.
  • Update account information and payment statuses.
  • Follow up on broken promises and missed payments.
  • Adhere to compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of all collection activities.
  • Meet or exceed daily and monthly collection targets.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Familiarity with debt collection laws and practices is a plus.
  • Previous experience in collections or customer service preferred.

Working Conditions:

This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset.
