Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to assume a key role in our IT department, focusing on disaster recovery planning and testing.

This position involves collaborating with IT and project management colleagues to ensure the resilience of technical assets and systems. The successful candidate will possess expertise in disaster recovery planning, cloud-based architecture, and industry-standard recovery solutions.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in IT disaster recovery, experience working with complex organizations, and knowledge of best practices and industry standards.


Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in disaster recovery planning and testing.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of best practices and industry standards.
  • A self-motivated critical thinker who can demonstrate follow-through and resourcefulness.
  • Ability to see the big picture to drive efficiencies and develop new strategies.
  • Possession of a working technical knowledge of systems, networking, storage, resiliency configuration options, and data replication methods.
  • Experience with cloud-based architecture and industry-standard recovery solutions.
  • Proven project management skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to understand technical network and data flow.
