About Our Debt Recovery Specialist

As a proactive debt recovery specialist, you will be responsible for managing aged debt reports, clearing receipts from payments, and ensuring clients make timely payments. This is an opportunity to utilize your analytical skills in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Generate and review aged debt reports to identify overdue payments
  2. Clear receipts and match them with the corresponding payments
  3. Communicate with clients regarding outstanding invoices
  4. Negotiate payment commitments and follow up to ensure timely payments
  5. Perform credit checks on new clients and update credit limits accordingly
  6. Set up new clients in the system and maintain accurate records
  7. Liaise with the finance team to resolve any payment discrepancies
  8. Monitor and report on collection progress to senior management
Requirements
  • Previous experience in debt recovery or accounts receivable
  • Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to handle conversations effectively
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software
  • Knowledge of debt collection processes and procedures
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
