Job Title: Business Continuity Specialist

Maintain and optimize large-scale backup and disaster recovery systems, focusing on Veeam Cloud Connect and Zerto.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive backup and replication strategies to ensure business continuity and minimize downtime.
  • Design, implement, and maintain large-scale Veeam Cloud Connect infrastructure and Zerto environments.
  • Analyze performance metrics and identify areas for improvement, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Conduct regular health checks, troubleshoot issues, and escalate as necessary to ensure system stability.
  • Best Practices Implementation:
  • Evaluate and apply industry best practices for patching and maintaining platforms to ensure optimal security and performance.
  • Implement data backup, replication, and recovery best practices to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Disaster Recovery Planning:
  • Collaborate with customers to design and implement tailored disaster recovery solutions that meet their RTOs and RPOs.
  • Perform periodic internal and/or customer disaster recovery tests to ensure full compliance and effectiveness of business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
  • Provide technical guidance on disaster recovery strategies using Zerto and Veeam for replication and failover.
  • Customer Support & Escalations:
  • Serve as a technical escalation point for front-line support for Veeam and Zerto platforms.
  • Work closely with the front-line support team, customers, and vendors directly to troubleshoot and resolve customer backup and disaster recovery issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
  • Veeam (VMCE) and Zerto certifications preferred but not required.

Experience working in cloud-based environments (Azure, AWS, or private clouds) is highly valued.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
  • Veeam (VMCE) and Zerto certifications preferred but not required.
  • Relevant industry certifications are a plus.

Knowledge of Veeam and Zerto products and technologies is essential. Experience working in cloud-based environments (Azure, AWS, or private clouds) is highly valued. Professional certification in ITIL or similar is an added advantage.
