Strategic Partnership Developer

This role focuses on cultivating and enhancing partnerships by positioning the World Food Programme (WFP) with diverse development actors to contribute to national development approaches.
The successful candidate will support process improvements and partnership opportunities with various entities, including governments, UN agencies, intergovernmental institutions, international financial institutions, corporations, foundations, and non-governmental organizations.
- Cultivate strategic partnerships with governments, UN agencies, intergovernmental institutions, international financial institutions, corporations, foundations, and non-governmental organizations.
- Analyze national development, budgeting, and spending priorities to determine how WFP could support governments in furthering their priorities and closing the funding gap.
- Identify and support follow-up on strategic and funding opportunities to partner and advance development agendas and support achievement of relevant goals and targets.
- Provide strategic advice to senior management for engagement with governmental authorities and other development actors.
