Job Description

This role is responsible for preparing and serving food items, maintaining high quality and meeting standards for food preparation and presentation.

  • Prepare a variety of dishes, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts.
  • Assist with food presentation, ensuring that all dishes are visually appealing.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen.
  • Follow company procedures regarding temperature checks, food labelling and dating, cleaning schedules, and hygiene regulations.
  • Assist with acceptance and storage of deliveries, adhering to company procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as Demi Chef de Partie or Commis I in a 5-star hotel.
  • Strong knowledge of Western and Asian cuisines.
  • Understanding of HACCP and high standards of hygiene.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a clean and tidy workspace.
