The Global Sales Director at American Express is responsible for leading a team of 10 direct reports to acquire new clients and meet full-year goals and targets.

You will need to identify target markets, industries, and territories, aligning your team to these areas and developing a sales plan to ensure they are on track to deliver business results.

Accurate and timely reporting of the pipeline and prospects will be essential in managing the sales pipeline. Collaboration with Marketing Manager SBS will be key to ensuring effective alignment between the two teams.

You will foster relationships with global, regional, and local counterparts, driving profitable growth and overcoming obstacles to support business objectives.

Developing performance reports and analysis to track team productivity and sales outcomes will be crucial in this role. Leveraging Salesforce.com as the platform to manage all opportunities and reporting will be essential.

This role requires exceptional people leadership experience of at least 5 years with a proven ability to drive teams towards KPIs and sales targets.

Proven capability in developing and implementing various business strategies will be necessary in this role. Additionally, you will need to demonstrate ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment to influence, collaborate, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders globally, regionally, and/or locally.
