Procure to Pay Team Lead Job Description

The Procure to Pay Team Lead plays a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, streamlining processes, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

  • Leadership: Direct a high-performing team of finance and administration professionals, ensuring they are cross-trained, multi-skilled, and client-focused.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify job-related problems, analyze causes using established techniques or tools, develop and recommend solution alternatives, and challenge existing procedures and processes to enhance and improve them.
  • Strategy Development: Contribute to the development of strategies and set operational objectives in close collaboration with the Delivery Manager.
  • Customer Service: Address escalated and complex customer service issues, ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to Service Level Agreements.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously strive to improve finance and administration processes and motivate team members to do the same.
  • Reporting: Track and report service performance, contributing to strategic financial results within their area of responsibility.

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying job-related problems, analyzing causes using established techniques or tools, developing and recommending solution alternatives, and challenging existing procedures and processes to enhance and improve them. You will also contribute to the development of strategies and set operational objectives in close collaboration with the Delivery Manager.

A key aspect of this role is addressing escalated and complex customer service issues, ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to Service Level Agreements. Additionally, you will continuously strive to improve finance and administration processes and motivate team members to do the same.
