Job Opportunity

The Senior Audit Manager/Audit Manager position is responsible for overseeing the internal audit function of an organization. They lead a team of auditors to ensure that financial, operational, and compliance risks are identified and managed appropriately.


Main Responsibilities

  • Develops strategic plans by performing annual risk evaluations of the organization's audit universe.


  • Directs and reviews risk assessments for each individual audit project, ensuring that business risks identified during planning are considered in the scope and objectives of the project.


  • Reviews audit procedures to ensure detailed work is effectively focused on high-risk areas.


  • Identifies potential risks and provides recommendations to mitigate them.


  • Ensures compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies and procedures.


  • Communicates audit findings and recommendations to senior management and the audit committee.


  • Builts strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, external auditors, and regulators.


  • Monitors and tracks implementation of audit recommendations.


  • Provides leadership, guidance, and support to the audit team.


  • Stays up-to-date with changes in laws, regulations, and auditing standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.


  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required. Professional certification such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) is preferred.


  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in auditing or accounting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.


  • Strong knowledge of auditing principles, practices, and standards.


  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


  • Ability to manage and motivate a team of auditors.


  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.


  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.


  • High level of integrity and ethical standards.
