JOB SUMMARY: The HR Specialist for Learning and Development plays a vital role in supporting employee growth and capability building across the organization. One of the main priorities of this role is to streamline the onboarding process by working with each department to establish clear and consistent practices, ensuring new employees are properly welcomed, oriented, and equipped for their roles. The position also designs, implements, and monitors learning initiatives that align with individual development and company goals, covering structured learning paths, job-specific training, and performance improvement efforts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Help streamline onboarding by coordinating with departments to set clear guidelines, including checklists, task handovers, system access, and initial training to ensure smooth role integration.

    • Identify training needs in coordination with department heads and employee performance data.

      • Design and deliver training programs, including orientation, soft skills, leadership development, and job-specific skills.

        • Coordinate internal and external training activities, including liaising with vendors or trainers when needed.

          • Monitor training attendance, engagement, and post-training application through evaluation tools and feedback forms.

            • Develop and maintain a training calendar and learning materials, ensuring all resources are up to date and relevant.

              • Track training metrics such as participation, completion, and effectiveness, and prepare regular reports for management.

                • Support other HR projects and employee development initiatives as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, or related field.

    • At least 4-5 years of experience in Learning and Development or similar HR function.

      • Experience in designing and facilitating training sessions.

        • Strong communication and presentation skills.

          • Analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to track and assess learning impact.

            • Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with digital learning tools is a plus.
