Primary Responsibilities
  • Ensure the accuracy of all charges and credits to the various accounts and that they are properly entered on a timely basis.
  • Compute accurately all travel agent commissions payable and enter them on an amicable basis.
  • Ensure that accounts, statements and follow-up letters are mailed on a timely basis.
  • Provide the necessary information regarding overdue accounts to the proper persons for follow-up.
  • Control by recording, posting and balancing of all advance deposits.
  • Respond to guests' queries and account disputes.
  • Ensure that the proper amount of travel agent commissions is paid, and paid only to authorized travel agents.
  • Balance all subsidiary accounts receivable ledgers to the appropriate control accounts, monthly, and prepare fashioned AGED trial balances of all accounts receivable ledgers.
  • Prepare all necessary reports in regard to accounts receivable (e.g. quarterly accounts receivable report).
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned.
Administrative Responsibilities
  • Performs duties to the best of ability.
  • Reports any unusual incidents, guest complaints, lost and found, breakage and losses to the supervisor.
  • Attends briefings, meetings, and any requested training.
  • Be responsible for cost saving on guest supplies, food supplies, electricity, water, etc.
  • Follows company rules and regulations.
Technical Responsibilities
  • Reports to work in prescribed uniform and well-groomed.
  • Reports to the supervisor at the start of the shift to receive necessary instructions.
  • Performs duties professionally according to standards and requirements.
  • Knowledgeable about work-related items such as guest supplies, consumable items, promotional materials, forms and procedures.
  • Equips with necessary working tools and equipment (pen, computer, etc.).
  • Greets guests and colleagues politely; listens to guests (external & internal) to perform duties effectively.
  • Continues to develop skills and ideas to improve tasks and experiences.
  • Confirms satisfaction with guests and informs supervisor or manager immediately in case of guest complaints.
Commercial Responsibilities
  • Communicates effectively with guests, clients, business partners and staff.
  • Promotes the hotel's image and business as a proactive sales-oriented team member.
  • Participates in community projects or activities to promote the hotel's image and cooperation.
Human Resources Responsibilities
  • Establishes and maintains good relations with other staff and departments; provides assistance to colleagues to foster teamwork and hotel success.
Relationship
  • Reports to unit manager or department heads as necessary.
  • Communicates with guests in delivering product and service.
  • Relates to co-staff in service and supporting departments in performance of work and service to guests.
  • Relates to employees of other departments for special functions and activities of the hotel.
Others
  • Continuous learning through own IDP.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the superior.

Job Requirements
  • Minimum education: high vocational diploma in Accounting.
  • Minimum 1 year of accounting experience.
  • Good communication skills in written and spoken English.
  • Analytical mindset and proactive approach.
  • Professional disposition with good communication and interpersonal skills.
